Immersing my self into an entirely different environment with new faces and personalities have never been a problem nor a challenge on me which in fact i wasn't felt that culture shock at all. Mingling with other people's culture, language and traditions weren't a big challenge on me since there are Filipino teachers in Teeratada who consistently helping us adjust and adapt to Thailand.

The truest challenge that I have encountered lies inside the four corners of the classroom. Students there at Teeratada have big problems when it comes to communicating and expressing them selves using the English language. Thus it is really a challenge for me on how will I deliver my topic to the students and how will I let the students attain the objectives of the discussion. To resolve this challenge, I made use of instructional materials so that it will help me explain the concepts of the lesson. I also prepared lots of games and hands-on activities so that they will not be bored in my class and not just learn  mathematics but at the same time enjoy studying and exploring the wonders and beauty that lies behind the theorems and laws of Mathematics.

Another challenge that I encountered was balancing the different learning needs of the students. It is a fact that every student who walks through my door is uniquely different. Some are slow learners, medium and fast learners. Some of them learn best when there are visuals or there are hands-on activities or in other words, they have different multiple intelligence. To address this kind of challenge, I employed what you call differentiated instruction. Say for an instance I discussed Properties of equality, I have students taking down notes, performing some activities, listening to the song related to the topic, breaking them in partner, triads and in large groups etc.
