In my observation, teachers usually first review the previous lesson then presents the vocabularies that the students might encounter during the discussion. T. Adel, the Head of English Department, said that it is very important to present first the vocabularies before introducing the topic since students are short of vocabulary words hence they wouldn't understand the discussion if they encounter unfamiliar words. Afterwards, It's time to introduce the topic through activities, then a lecture and demonstration for a while then afterwards provide worksheets for students either collaboratively or independently. Sometime a tutorial video or any videos related to the topic will be presented to the students for further understanding of the concept. Students do also practice the skills they have learned as well as the knowledge they have gained during the discussion through home works and assignments.
